Volunteers make up the heart and soul of Telluride Yoga Festival. Every year, a team of 50 passionate and dedicated yogis helps us transform the iconic Telluride Mountain Village into the intimate home of the Telluride Yoga Festival.  Volunteering allows you to connect with like-minded yogis, work amongst the scenic backdrop of the San Juan Mountains, and attend the festival for the low cost of $49 in exchange for 15-20 hours of volunteer work.

Want to join the team? To get started, read our Volunteer Info sheet and complete the application once posted. If accepted, our volunteer coordinator will contact you by May to confirm your availability and assign volunteer roles. 

We accept applications on a rolling basis until all positions have been filled. Individuals will be chosen based on prior experience, availability, skill, and enthusiasm.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Available for all 4 days of the festival. Those who are available also before and post-festival will be prioritized.

  • Work 15-20 hours doing festival production tasks. This will be spread out over 6 days so you can participate in a maximum amount of festival fun keeping in mind that most shifts are during the festival.

  • Attend an additional MANDATORY orientation meeting (not included in the 15 hours) for the team on Thursday from 5-6pm at the Volunteer & Registration Area located in the Plaza Building in Mountain Village.

  • $49 non-refundable deposit. This fee reserves your space on the team and covers the cost of volunteer schwag and administration fees.

  • TYF volunteers are responsible for their housing, meals, and transportation. Please see our lodging & camping info and secure your housing now. 

VOLUNTEER VETERANS

  • If you are interested in more responsibility this year, opportunities are endless. Please let us know where your talents might fit best and your previous roles/experience.

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • The team is created through a rolling admissions process, meaning people will be added to the team until all positions have been filled. Individuals will be chosen based on prior experience, availability, skill, and enthusiasm.

  • Complete the entire application form below answering the questions as honestly as possible, we do not want you to answer the questions the way you think we want them to be answered. We want to get to know you, so we can do our best to place you in the right position for you and for us.

  • Do this soon, as assignment preferences are considered based on your skills and then on a first come, first serve basis. We will do our best to accommodate your assignment requests.
