At its heart, the Telluride Yoga Festival has always been about more than asana. It’s about seva — the practice of selfless service, of showing up for one another, of building something together that’s bigger than any one of us.
This year, we’re turning that value into action.
The Seva Scholarship Fund was created so that financial circumstances never stand between someone and the transformation, connection, and renewal that TYF offers. Every year, we hear from attendees that the festival changed something in them — gave them a reset, a breakthrough, a sense of belonging they carry home. We believe that experience shouldn’t be reserved for those who can afford a pass.

100% of every dollar donated to the Seva Scholarship Fund goes directly toward scholarships for next year’s festival. No overhead, no admin fees — just yogis helping yogis find their way to Telluride.
Our goal is to award at least 10 full festival scholarships for 2027, covering the cost of a pass for community members, teachers, and seekers who otherwise couldn’t attend.
This is in addition to TYF’s existing commitment to giving back: each year, our festival runs on the generosity of 55 volunteers, and we donate festival passes directly to non-profit organizations across our region — extending the practice beyond our own community and into the wider San Juan region we call home.

Telluride is remote, and a festival weekend here is an investment. We know that. But we also know that some of the people who would benefit most from this experience — a teacher carrying their community’s wellbeing on their shoulders, a young person navigating a hard chapter, a local who has given so much to this town — are often the ones least able to justify the cost.
The Seva Scholarship Fund is how we close that gap, one dollar at a time.
