Class Descriptions
This form will be used to describe your classes and create the 2026 TYF schedule. Your classes, which you put your heart and soul into preparing and presenting, are what that make this festival a lasting and meaningful weekend for our attendees. We cannot emphasize enough how important the title and description are to how well your classes are attended. Here are tips and parameters as you create your class titles, descriptions, and more.
Submit all class descriptions no later than Friday, February 13, 2026. The sooner you submit, the more likely you will get your preferred time/day for classes. Failure to submit by February 13th is a breach of contract - please complete these in a timely manner.
Draft classes/workshops before entering them into the below online submission form. We strongly recommend drafting your class titles and descriptions in a separate document (such as Google Docs or Word) before entering them into the online submission form. This ensures your work is saved on your end, prevents any content from being lost during submission, and allows you to review for clarity, accuracy, and correct spelling before copying it into the form. Having your content saved separately also makes it easy to reference or reuse later.
Fill out this form as many times as you have been contracted sessions. E.g. If you’ve been contracted for 4 classes Friday-Sunday, submit at least 4 class descriptions for us to choose from. If you’d like to provide more so we can choose based on what will best complement the flow and content of the festival, even better!
Well-written and creative class titles & descriptions are key to ensuring well-attended classes. We cannot stress this enough. Make your titles unique, engaging, captivating, and fun. Feel free to visit our 2024 Schedule to review titles/descriptions and more from last year's festival. TYF reserves the right to wordsmith as needed, but we would prefer for these titles and descriptions to come directly from you!
2026 Theme: Abundant Living: For Ourselves, For Each Other. We invite you to submit 1 class title and description that is inspired by our themeWe encourage offerings that explore yoga and contemplative practices as pathways to long-term vitality, resilience, joy, and meaningful connection—both individually and collectively. Submissions may address longevity, healthy aging, menopause and hormonal health, mental and emotional wellbeing, sustainable movement, breath, meditation, and mindfulness, as well as the role of service (seva), purpose, and community care in a life well lived. We welcome classes that move beyond self-care alone and instead invite participants to consider how personal wellbeing becomes a shared resource—one that supports presence, generosity, and the capacity to show up fully for ourselves and for one another."
* Focus: Cultivating joy, creativity, and a playful spirit in daily life, exploring the intersection of yoga and nature.
* This is an intentionally broad theme designed to let you go in many directions. You may use this as inspiration, but only if this resonates with you.
* By thoughtfully selecting a theme and integrating it, the Telluride Yoga Festival can create a truly memorable and transformative experience for all who attend. All submissions/class offerings must be unique to TYF. This means all class titles and descriptions must be original and not used in any previous festival, conference, retreat, training, or other workshop. Thank you!!
The title and description must accurately reflect what you present in June - make sure that what you submit now is what you intend to teach in June - and remember to re-read these prior to presenting in June so you can stay on topic. Thank you!
Please feel free to reach out to Erika to discuss your offerings or for any questions or concerns you may have. Thank you and we are so excited to curate the most incredible offerings ever in 2026!
